As we continue our Summer In Proverbs, we explore Proverbs 5, 6 and 7, bringing focus to Proverbs 6. There we dig into seven things that God hates and calls detestable. Haughty Eyes, Lying Tongues, Hands that kill the innocent…the list goes on. God hates these behaviors because they breach relationships, they tear apart families, and they destroy unity. What’s worse is that the root of the behaviors is the content of the individual’s heart. What is stored up within, makes its way out, regardless of whether or not we want it to. We need to perform a flush on our heart to clean it out, filling it with everything that God has to offer. Your Heart Needs You.
