As we continue in the Movement series, we read about how Paul and the disciples were regularly facing persecution. At one point, Paul is stoned and left to die because of preaching the gospel. It didn’t stop him, but instead it fueled him to press on. He had focus, and because he had focus, he didn’t give up in the face of persecution. Because he didn’t give up, many of his listeners became disciples. Paul was focused on spreading the gospel, and this focus defined his perspective. We too have a perspective that is defined by our focus. The big question is, Where is Our Focus? Where we focus will determine what we do and how we respond to life around us.
