Imagine you are sitting in a field in the dark of the night. The sky is the darkest of dark and all that you hear is a gentle breeze and the bleating of sheep. Then suddenly, the sky comes alive with the brightest of lights and angels announcing the birth of your savior, Christ the Lord! This is the backdrop for our message today. Jesus came to bring Joy to ALL people. His Joy is complete and can sustain us throughout our lives. This doesn’t mean we don’t have to work at keeping it. The enemy, continually tries to steal our joy through resentment, bitterness, unforgiveness and disobedience. But we get to choose whether we keep our Joy or get distracted with what the enemy puts in our way. What will your choice be? Will you choose Joy?
